Tracking Help

blueEX Tracking Not Updating: Causes & Solutions

Why your tracking may seem stuck, which gaps between scans are normal and when to contact customer care.

Why There Are Gaps Between Updates

It is common to check tracking and see no change for hours. Tracking only updates when a parcel’s barcode is scanned at a hub or office, not all the time.

In most cases, a pause does not mean the parcel is lost. The parcel is usually travelling between cities or waiting to be sorted.

Common Reasons Tracking Stops Updating

Cause 1

Booked but Not Yet Collected

Shops can create the booking as soon as an order is packed, before blueEX has picked it up. Until pickup, there may be no new scans.

What to do: This is normal right after booking. The booking existing does not mean blueEX has the parcel yet, so give it some time.

Cause 2

Travelling Between Cities

Parcels going between cities, such as Karachi to Lahore or Faisalabad, travel by road. There are no scans while they are on the way.

Normal: The trip between cities cannot be seen on tracking. This is the most common reason a status looks stuck.

Cause 3

Sundays and Public Holidays

blueEX does not deliver on Sundays or public holidays. Parcels in the network at the weekend are kept in central hubs and go out from Monday.

What to do: Expect deliveries to start again on the next working day.

Cause 4

Weather and Road Problems

Winter fog on motorways or heavy monsoon rain can slow down transport. Safety comes first, so the trip can take longer.

Note: Delays for safety reasons are normal in bad weather.

What Your Last Scan Tells You

The best guide is the status your parcel is on. A pause on “In Transit” is normal while the parcel travels between cities. A long pause on “Arrived at Destination Station” is more worth a call, because the parcel is already in your city. A pause on “Out for Delivery” that lasts past the end of the day is the clearest sign something needs checking.

Recipient Action Checklist

Go through these steps before you contact support:

Step 1: Check the Number

Make sure you entered the courier tracking number, not the shop’s order number. Check for typing mistakes, such as mixing up zero (0) and the letter "O".

Step 2: Look at Where the Last Scan Was

If the last update is "Arrived at Facility" in the sending city, the parcel is waiting to leave for your city. If it says "Arrived at Destination Station", it is in your city and waiting to go out for delivery.

Step 3: Look for Problem Notes

Look for notes such as "Consignee Unreachable" or "Incomplete Address". If you see one, contact customer care straight away with better directions.

Step 4: Use PUSH or NUDGE

The blueEX tracking portal has PUSH (to ask for an urgent callback) and NUDGE (to ask for priority). You can also message WhatsApp support on +92 313-2752583.
