blueEX Domestic Courier and Delivery Guide
A plain guide to blueEX delivery within Pakistan: services to ask about, how size affects the price and how to pack parcels safely.
blueEX’s Delivery Network in Pakistan
blueEX is the brand of Universal Network Systems Limited, listed on the GEM board of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (scrip GEMUNSL). Its head office is at Plot # 5, Banglore Town, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi.
blueEX has hubs and express centers in major cities, including Karachi, Lahore (Kot Lakhpat), Rawalpindi/Islamabad (Airport Road) and Faisalabad (Susan Road). Riders deliver to homes and offices from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There are no deliveries on Sundays or public holidays.

Urgent Documents
Ask whether blueEX offers a faster option for urgent documents and small parcels, and how long it takes on your route.

Volumetric (Dimensional) Weight Principles
Most couriers bill the bigger of two numbers: what the parcel weighs, or a weight based on its box size. Ask blueEX which method it uses for your parcel.
Size Weight (kg) = [Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm)] ÷ a number set by the courier
For example, many couriers divide by 5,000. With that number, a 50 cm × 40 cm × 30 cm box would count as 12 kg, even if it only weighs 3 kg. Ask blueEX for the number it uses.
How to Pack Parcels Safely
Parcels travel long distances and are handled several times. Good packing protects them from bumps and pressure:
Strong Boxes
Use strong, undamaged double-wall boxes. Do not reuse soft, weak boxes that may collapse when stacked.
Padding
Wrap fragile items in bubble wrap. Fill any empty space with crumpled paper or air cushions so nothing moves.
Taping
Seal the box with strong packing tape along the middle and edges in an H shape. Do not use masking tape or string.
Clear Labels
Stick the label flat on top of the parcel, so the barcode can be scanned easily.
Items You Usually Cannot Send
For safety, couriers usually ban or restrict these items. Ask blueEX for its full list:
- Liquids that can catch fire, solvents, gas cylinders and spray cans.
- Cash, bonds, precious metals and loose jewellery.
- Unlicensed medicines, controlled drugs and food that can go off.
- Explosives, fireworks, guns, bullets and dangerous waste.
Staff may check parcels when they are booked to make sure the contents match what was declared.
Proof of Delivery
When the parcel is handed over, the rider records the delivery, and tracking is updated. Business sellers can check completed deliveries on their account to answer buyer questions.
